Tips:
Online security is very important, so we want to provide some tips for users to protect themselves from cybercriminals:
- Set up two-factor authentication;
- Use secure passwords (8-12 characters, use uppercase and lowercase letters, symbols such as: @, #, !, %, $ ... );
- Set restrictions on confidential information (who can see your photo, phone number, name);
- Do not open spam emails or visit suspicious websites;
- Periodically back up important data;
- To maintain maximum privacy, use the following browsers: Brave, Tor, for android you can add Focus, for iOS: Safari;
- Don't reveal too much. Profile information creates a goldmine of information for hackers that helps them personalize phishing scams. Avoid giving too many details (date of birth, hometown, school, etc.);
- Use a reliable paid VPN network. This can help protect the sites you visit from logging your real IP address, reduce the amount of data your ISP can collect, and increase the security of your public Wi-Fi network;
